The first three albums in this series (White Volume, Red Volume and Yellow Volume) were originally recorded and released on cassette tape and on vinyl discs (for those of you under the age of 30, in the old days we referred to them as records and we played them on record players).

In 2010, due to overwhelming input from ballet instructors worldwide, we encouraged Don Caron to re-record and remaster all three of these early releases for compact disc. These updated releases, available this fall, now feature long unrepeated selections and alternate tempo options with over forty tracks on each album.

The Blue Volume was the only album in The First Class Album Series that was originally released on compact disc and only the cover art was changed on the Blue Volume - the audio content remains identical to the original release.
